Hello everyone and welcome!  My name is Vicky, and I am C6 quadriplegic and power wheelchair user. As I prepare for my fifth trip to Europe and first trip to Portugal with my family this summer, I am once again amazed by the magnitude of preparation that is required to figure out the basics of navigating a new city with a wheelchair. Seemingly simple things, like finding accessible transportation from the station to my hotel, can become major research projects!

I have learned so much from the posts and photos of other disabled travelers about destination accessibility, that I want to give back to the knowledge pool and share what information I can.
